I am equally passionate about teaching and research. 

I teach research methods, statistics, assessment, evaluation, and social & emotional aspects of learning. 

I conduct research with the goal of generating findings of practical utility to my collaborators and theoretical relevance to the fields of Education and Health.

Exploring social contextual factors & emotional experiences of teachers and learners, and their relations to both learning & psychological well-being.

Evidence-Based Practice in Professional Education

Understanding and comparing approaches to teaching evidence-based practice in professional education. 

Assessment and Evaluation

What can we know about what students know? How can formative processes be applied to support student-learning and program- or curriculum-development? 

Applied Decision Making Processes

How do people engage in every-day decision making? What facilitates decision making, and decreases decisional conflict?
